In its work over the past 20 years, Strategyn has identified two key obstacles hindering a company’s efforts to build a competency in innovation: (1) inadequate innovation process capabilities and (2) a mind-set that obstructs process improvement.
To address these issues, Strategyn has devised an innovation capabilities assessment that will help a company understand its current capabilities and provide a metrics-based system to guide and monitor improvements.
More specifically, our assessment will help your company:
- Identify its innovation processes' strengths and weaknesses.
- Prioritize the key areas requiring innovation process improvement.
- Identify the specific actions required to address process and organizational weaknesses.
- Set target values for improvement and a timeline to achieve them.
Strategyn’s innovation capability assessment is not a typical innovation audit. Based on years of research on the job of innovation, we have defined the optimal process flow, a job map, and the metrics that companies use to measure success. These metrics (your company’s needs) are the foundation upon which we will help your company achieve its innovation goals.
Partnering with your management team, we will help you conduct the assessment and interpret the results. We will then use that information to help create a customized program for innovation, ensuring that your company meets its growth objectives. In addition, we will help you track its progress against the plan and make needed modifications.
